FINRA, the SEC, and NASAA are all acronyms that you may have come across in your investment history. And they all may have been enough to start a headache. Luckily, your friends at the IAC, (sorry for that one) are here to be your aspirin. We’re here to tell you what they all mean and even add a new one to your vocabulary: SIFMA.

SIFMA is the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association. SIFMA is an industry trade group that advocates for the U.S. Securities Industry. The Securities Industry includes broker-dealers, banks and asset managers, and SIMFA has joined them all together to promote strong capital and financial markets. For more information on SIFMA, visit their website.
